Connecting Your Wallet

Web3.Market supports crypto payments through MetaMask (Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks) and Phantom (Solana). You can connect a wallet to an existing account or use one to create a new account.

Supported Wallets

Both wallets are available as browser extensions and mobile apps. Web3.Market supports browser extensions on desktop and in-app browsers on mobile.

Connecting a Wallet to an Existing Account

Open Wallet Settings

Sign in and navigate to Profile Settings > Connected Wallets.

Connect MetaMask

Click Connect MetaMask. Select the account you want to link and click Next, then Connect.

Sign the Verification Message

MetaMask will prompt you to sign a message with a server-generated nonce. This is off-chain and costs no gas. Click Sign.

Wallet Linked

Your MetaMask address appears in Connected Wallets. You can now pay with ETH, USDT, and other EVM tokens.

Creating an Account with a Wallet

Click Sign Up

Go to web3.market and click Sign Up.

Select “Connect Wallet”

Click Connect Wallet and choose MetaMask or Phantom.

Connect and Sign

Select an account, then sign the verification message when prompted.

Account Created

Your account is created using your wallet address. Add an email in Profile Settings to receive order confirmations and license keys.

Disconnecting a Wallet

Go to Profile Settings > Connected Wallets and click Disconnect next to the wallet you want to remove.

⚠️

If your account was created with only a wallet, add an alternative sign-in method before disconnecting to avoid being locked out.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
Wallet extension not detectedEnsure MetaMask or Phantom is installed and enabled. Refresh the page. Disable conflicting wallet extensions.
Connection request does not appearUnlock your wallet extension (enter password if session timed out). Click the extension icon manually, then retry.
Signature request fails or times outDo not navigate away while signing. Click Connect Wallet again for a fresh nonce. Update your wallet extension.
Wrong wallet address connectedDisconnect from Profile Settings, switch accounts in your wallet extension, and reconnect.
”Wallet already linked to another account”Each address can only be linked to one account. Disconnect it from the other account first, or contact Support.
Mobile wallet issuesOpen Web3.Market in your wallet app’s built-in browser (MetaMask Browser or Phantom Browser) rather than the default mobile browser.
